We are 900 metres from Margate main beach and we have a B&B, 8 rooms all with ensuite bathrooms, tea/coffee facilities, TV and 1 DSTV channel, some of them have sea views.

Petla’s Place one of Westville’s most established and well-known guesthouses was originally founded by Leon and Petla Alkema way back in 1994. Originally from the Free State, they brought to the city with them the warm hospitality their native countryside is so well known for.

They are ably assisted by the ever smiling Doris Mzimela who has also been an integral part of Petla’s place right from the onset twenty years ago. Owner-run and hands-on they will ensure that all your needs are catered for, no matter how small.
